Kody helps clients in a range of industries navigate complex commercial and employment disputes.
With a decade of combined litigation experience in private practice as an attorney and as a corporate litigation paralegal prior to law school, Kody provides clients with a pragmatic roadmap to manage disputes from the investigation stage through trial preparation and trial. Her experience includes a range of employment disputes, and complex civil litigation, including trade secret and IP litigation, non-compete litigation, and other commercial disputes.
Drawing on her previous experience handling corporate litigation for a large technology company, she brings valuable insights to counsel human resources and in-house legal teams through internal investigations, document collection and review, production holds, custodian interviews, compliance issues, administrative reviews, enforcement actions, and litigation.
Before joining Holland & Hart, Kody practiced at the Salt Lake office of Clyde Snow. During law school, Kody served as a judicial intern for Utah Supreme Court Justice John A. Pearce and as a law clerk at the Utah Office of the Attorney General, Litigation Division.
