Holland & Hart represented Barrick Mining Corporation (Barrick), through its subsidiary Barrick Gold U.S. Inc., in the $1 billion cash sale of its 50% interest in the Donlin Gold project to affiliates of Paulson Advisors LLC (Paulson) and NOVAGOLD Resources Inc. (NOVAGOLD). Barrick is a global gold and copper exploration, development, and mining company. This transaction establishes the new ownership of Donlin Gold LLC and positions the parties to advance development of the Donlin Gold project in Alaska.
