April advocates for clients in difficult business disputes.
April helps clients navigate business and regulatory disputes by balancing legal considerations with practical business objectives. Drawing on her experience overseeing litigation and compliance at a highly regulated multinational direct-selling company, she advises clients on strategies to mitigate risk, protect their interests, and resolve conflicts through negotiation, mediation, arbitration, or litigation. Clients rely on her to protect their interests while keeping business objectives front and center.
April’s practice spans a broad range of commercial matters, including shareholder disputes, restrictive covenant disputes (noncompetition, nonsolicitation, and confidentiality), MLM-related litigation, antitrust and competition issues, business fraud, and real property disputes. Clients value her ability to distill complex issues, develop clear strategies, and deliver outcomes that advance their broader business goals.
Prior to joining Holland & Hart, April served as associate general counsel for a multinational MLM company, where she oversaw litigation and compliance. Prior to that she was a shareholder at a Utah law firm, focusing on commercial litigation.
