Holland & Hart Announces New Firm Leadership in 2023

DENVER (January 3, 2023)—Holland & Hart LLP is pleased to announce the election and appointment of several partners to new leadership roles effective January 1, 2023. Two partners were elected by the partnership to serve on the firm’s five-person Management Committee (MCOM) that oversees the firm’s management and strategic direction. One new Practice Group Leader and three new office Administrative Partners were appointed by MCOM to serve in leadership positions.

We are delighted to welcome these new members to our leadership team and look forward to their perspectives and contributions in helping to chart the future direction of the firm,” said Chris Balch, firm chair.

Management Committee Members

Tim Getzoff was elected to serve a four-year term as the Middle Third Representative, succeeding Kelly Johnson, who has served in the role since 2020. A partner in the Intellectual Property Practice Group in the Boulder office, Tim represents clients in high stakes patent, trademark, and copyright litigation matters throughout the United States.

Craig Stewart was elected to serve a four-year term on the firm’s Management Committee as the Senior Third Representative, succeeding Dave Crandall, who has served in the role since 2019. A partner in the Commercial Litigation Practice Group in the Denver office, Craig represents clients from a broad array of industries in complex litigation, providing sound counsel when their reputations are on the line.

Practice Group Leaders

Denver partner Lindsay Silber was appointed leader of the Intellectual Property Practice Group. Lindsay focuses her practice on intellectual property, commercial transactions, and counseling, particularly structuring and negotiating technology and commercial agreements. She succeeds Dan Glivar, who has served as the group’s leader since 2018.

Administrative Partners

Partner Gabe Hamilton was appointed Administrative Partner in Boise. He succeeds Dean Bennett, who took on the role in 2018. Gabe advises companies in the animal health, healthcare, and insurance industries, providing tailored legal solutions to support their business operations and meet their strategic objectives.

Partner Matt Micheli was appointed Administrative Partner of the firm’s Cheyenne office. He succeeds Isaac Sutphin, who served in this role since 2018. Matt helps clients obtain and defend permits, navigate regulatory regimes, and he represents clients in oil and gas litigation. He also maintains an active governmental affairs practice.

Partner Rick Flint was appointed Administrative Partner of the firm’s Salt Lake City office.  He succeeds Jim Barnett, who took on the role in 2018. Rick represents clients in complex commercial and civil litigation with an emphasis in contract disputes, business torts, and real estate matters, including judicial and non-judicial foreclosures.
