Angela leverages her 30 plus years of transaction and title experience to provide emerging energy and traditional natural resources clients with the comprehensive services and practical solutions they require.

She advises clients on acquisition, divestiture, merger, exploration, development, and financing projects and transactions. She guides clients through complex administrative agency requirements and prepares the documents and agreements necessary to accomplish their goals.

Angela has significant experience examining title to and conducting due diligence reviews of federal, state, Indian, and private lands and leases throughout the Rocky Mountain region, and rendering acquisition, drilling, division order, financing, and counsel opinions. She regularly advises on the intricacies of federal leases and federal units.

Being from a multi-generational oil and gas family, Angela has a deep appreciation for the energy and natural resources industries she serves and understands the needs of the people working in these industries.

    • Local counsel due diligence review of a $2.5 billion pipeline in North Dakota, South Dakota, and Iowa for the financing entity
    • Local counsel for the acquiring entity in a $2.5 billion acquisition of oil and gas properties in Rocky Mountain states
    • Co-counsel in a $400 million exchange of producing oil and gas properties in Utah and Wyoming
    • Co-counsel in a $260 million divestiture of producing oil and gas properties in Utah and Wyoming
    • Local counsel due diligence review of $117 million membership interest in a pipeline and gathering system in Wyoming for the acquiring entity
    • Represented the acquiring entity in a $100 million acquisition of producing oil and gas properties in Wyoming
    • Local counsel for the borrowing entity in a $14 million mining project in Utah
    • Represented the acquiring entity in a $10 million acquisition of royalty and mineral interests throughout the Rocky Mountain states
    • Served as neutral arbitrator in joint operating agreement and participation agreement dispute
