Peter's practice focuses on environmental compliance, regulatory matters, and energy law, with experience spanning administrative law, permitting, and regulatory counseling for mining, energy, and commercial clients.
Peter has represented clients before state regulatory agencies and provided counsel on environmental permitting and policy issues. Peter advises clients on environmental permits, state and federal regulatory requirements, and compliance strategies, regularly interpreting environmental statutes and tracking legislative developments affecting the environmental and energy sectors. His background includes energy project development, appellate litigation, and natural resource disputes.
Prior to joining Holland & Hart, Peter served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Justice Elissa F. Cadish at the Supreme Court of Nevada. He also gained valuable government experience with positions at the Department of the Interior, Office of the Solicitor and United States Senate.
