Melissa Reynolds Selected President of the S.J. Quinney College of Law's Young Alumni Association

Holland & Hart is pleased to announce that attorney Melissa Reynolds, an associate in the firm’s Salt Lake City office, was recently selected President of the S.J. Quinney College of Law’s Young Alumni Association for the 2021-2022 year. As President, Melissa will lead the Young Alumni Association in fostering relationships between the college of law and its alumni that will provide meaningful contributions to the college of law and enrich the professional lives of its alumni.

The Young Alumni Association Board comprises representatives from each of the last ten S.J. Quinney College of Law graduating classes. The association organizes a suite of events for current law students, manages the Dean Dickey Scholarship, and works with the law school to help ensure alumni remain engaged and connected with the school and its students.

In her practice, Melissa draws from her experience with government agencies to counsel clients on enforcement and compliance issues involving natural resources, with an emphasis on water quality and water rights. She works with a variety of clients to provide counsel on water quality and environmental compliance issues that may arise during project development, operation, and closure. Melissa also leverages her knowledge of key water legislation and state agencies to guide clients in obtaining, protecting, and using their water rights.
