Holland & Hart Represents Rubico Acquisition Corporation in Acquisition of Louisiana Downs

Holland & Hart represented Rubico Acquisition Corp. (Rubico) in its acquisition of Harrah’s Louisiana Downs Casino, Racing & Entertainment from Caesars Entertainment Inc. and VICI Properties Inc. The racing and entertainment property, which includes a casino and horse racing track, is located in Bossier City, LA.

Rubico plans to make improvements to both the 32,000-square-foot casino and the racing campus that opened in 1974 and will apply for a sports betting license to add to its platforms.

The Holland & Hart transactional team was led by corporate partner David Garcia and included James Newman, Todd Criger, Robert Denzer, Lori Argall, Douglas Flowers, Catherine Crane, Mark Wiletsky, Lindsay Silber, and John Ludlum.
