Holland & Hart represented Rubico Acquisition Corp. (Rubico) in its acquisition of Harrah’s Louisiana Downs Casino, Racing & Entertainment from Caesars Entertainment Inc. and VICI Properties Inc. The racing and entertainment property, which includes a casino and horse racing track, is located in Bossier City, LA.
Rubico plans to make improvements to both the 32,000-square-foot casino and the racing campus that opened in 1974 and will apply for a sports betting license to add to its platforms.
