Holland & Hart represents Micron Technology, Inc. (Nasdaq: MU), an industry leader in innovative memory and storage solutions, in connection with the construction, preconstruction, and design-related agreements for its $100 billion leading-edge memory manufacturing complex in Clay, New York. When complete, the complex—planned to include up to four semiconductor fabrication (fab) facilities—will be the largest semiconductor manufacturing facility in the nation.
The project is expected to generate 50,000 jobs in New York, including 4,500 construction jobs. The largest private investment in New York state history, the project is projected to add approximately $16.7 billion per year in real economic output in the state and approximately $5.4 billion per year in personal income for New Yorkers over the next 30 years. The project is supported by up to $6.1 billion in federal CHIPS Act direct funding and $5.5 billion in New York State GREEN CHIPS incentives. Micron announced on June 10, 2026, the selection of Bechtel as its engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) partner, marking the next major milestone since breaking ground on the first fab in January 2026.
