Holland & Hart Represents First Interstate BancSystem in IPO

DENVER (April 12, 2010) – Attorneys in Denver-based law firm Holland & Hart represented First Interstate BancSystem, Inc. (NASDAQ: FIBK) in connection with its initial public offering of Class A common stock at $14.50 per share, raising net proceeds to the company of approximately $153.3 million. This offering was the first bank holding company IPO completed in the U.S. since July 2007.

First Interstate BancSystem is a financial and bank holding company headquartered in Billings, Montana, with 72 banking offices in 42 communities located in Montana, Wyoming and western South Dakota. The initial public offering consisted of 11.5 million shares of Class A common stock, which included the full exercise of the underwriters’ option to cover over-allotments.
