Holland & Hart attorneys shared insights with Law Week Colorado for its “Best Lawyers 2024” features. In the “Best Lawyers’ Lawyers of the Year” feature, managing partner and corporate attorney Lucy Stark shared that she “continues to be ‘honored and humbled’ by the acknowledgment but attributes her success in large part to her co-workers.” Lucy was specifically recognized for her work in corporate compliance law this year, by Best Lawyers, but also practices in securities and capital markets and mergers and acquisitions in Colorado.
Construction partner Sean Hanlon discussed details of the construction and development industry, saying, “Recently, a significant portion of my practice focuses on advising clients involved in developing renewable energy projects,” adding, “On the public project front, infrastructure will likely be an area of focused and sustained growth, including projects delivered via public-private partnerships.” Other construction attorneys who were recognized by Best Lawyers in 2024 include Christopher Heaphey, Christopher Gunlikson, Robert Benson, J. Kevin Bridston, Timothy Gordon, and Evan Randall.
Eleven Colorado-based Holland & Hart commercial litigation attorneys were recognized in Best Lawyers 2024. Maureen Witt commented that “commercial litigation is a thriving practice at the firm with an experienced team that works to provide excellent service to its clients.” Michael Carrigan shared, “We have seen a growing influx of younger lawyers, primarily from the coasts, who want to live in Colorado.” Commenting on the practice, Holly Sollod shared that the firm continues “to see the US Supreme Court and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals address key issues under the federal securities laws.” Andy Lillie concludes that this recognition “is a reflection of how Holland & Hart’s people, working together, demonstrate the highest levels of service, professionalism, and competence.” Other commercial litigation attorneys who were recognized by Best Lawyers in 2024 for Commercial Litigation include Gregory Goldberg, Shawn Eady, Jonathan Bender, Wiley Mayne, Jane Michaels, Craig Stewart, and Christopher Toll.
Holland & Hart had 43 Colorado-based lawyers selected as Best Lawyers “Ones to Watch,” across a wide array of practices. Construction associate Thomas Morales shared with Law Week Colorado that he’s “thrilled to be included...I think it’s a real testament to the talented group I get to work with every day.” Michelle Seares (oil and gas litigation associate), Nabil Rodriguez (cannabis and psychedelic industry associate), Mark Gibson (commercial litigation and appellate of counsel), Randy Roeser (intellectual property litigation associate) and Juan Obregon (employment and labor of counsel) also all shared with Law Week that they were honored to be among those recognized for this accolade.
