Holland & Hart attorney Alex Grande was voted onto the Friends of Children and Families, Inc. (FOCAF) Board of Directors. FOCAF provides Head Start and Early Head Start services to qualifying families, including women who are pregnant and children up to age five. As a member of the Board, Grande will provide leadership and guidance to the FOCAF organization and support its mission to provide high quality early childhood services by educating, serving, and partnering with families to create life-long learners.
The FOCAF Board of Directors is comprised of community members who know and understand the value that early education plays in preparing the most vulnerable young children to succeed in school and beyond school. The Board is the governing body that oversees how services are delivered to children and families in core areas of early learning, health, and family well-being, while engaging parents as partners.
