William Callison Receives 2023 Brooke Wunnicke Outstanding Mentor Award by Colorado Law Alumni Board

Holland & Hart is pleased to announce William Callison, a partner in Holland & Hart’s Denver office, has been selected as the 2023 Dean’s Choice Brooke Wunnicke Outstanding Mentor Award recipient by the University of Colorado Law School Law Alumni Board. This award recognizes alumni who are honored attorneys at law for ethical trial, appellate, or business practice and who have maintained an extraordinary ability to mentor and convey this dedication to other lawyers.

A 1982 graduate of the University of Colorado School of Law, Bill works in close partnership with clients in the affordable housing industry to implement creative equity and debt financing on projects in Colorado and around the country. He is a preeminent practitioner in LLC and partnership law and is an authority on laws governing fiduciary duties. Bill is also sought-after as a consulting or testifying expert witness in corporate, LLC, partnership, contract, professional malpractice, and related legal matters.

Bill has earned numerous awards and recognitions throughout his career. He is a Fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers and serves as a member of the American Law Institute. Bill was recently selected as the 2022 recipient of the Martin I. Lubaroff Award by the American Bar Association’s Section of Business Law, LLCs, Partnerships and Unincorporated Entities Committee. He is consistently recognized for corporate law, nonprofit/charities law, and tax law by The Best Lawyers in America.

Each year, Colorado Law’s signature alumni event recognizes alumni and friends for their contributions to the legal profession, service to their communities, and dedication to the law school. The award will be presented at the 42nd annual University of Colorado Law School Alumni Awards celebration on March 16, 2023.
