The Utah Association of Energy Users holds an annual western energy conference and golf tournament in May of each year to bring together high level speakers to provide key information to a large audience of regulators, legislators, utility management, large energy users, and other interested parties. The 24th Annual Conference -- "Surviving the Rising Costs of Energy" -- will feature topics including the national outlook on climate and energy policies; the outlook on renewable energy; the regional outlook on reliability; shifting energy dynamics of the natural gas market; transmission siting; emerging technology; and Utah renewable energy and other Utah-related issues.
