Holland & Hart represented Webroot Inc., a global market leader in endpoint security, network security, and threat intelligence services, in its acquisition of substantially all of the assets of Securecast, a security awareness training platform, which will augment Webroot’s current business solutions. The new platform, Webroot Security Awareness Training, is an interactive virtual training program that educates and tests end-users about phishing, ransomware, and other cyber threats. The new solution, in combination with Webroot’s threat intelligence and technology, will enhance businesses’ ability to reduce their security risks with cost-effective, high quality, and ongoing security awareness and training on cybersecurity best practices. The terms of the transaction are not being disclosed.
