Holland & Hart attorney Fred Schmidt is serving as one of the Program Co-Chairs. Fred focuses on regulatory and administrative law with emphasis on public utility matters. As a former two-term Commissioner on the Nevada Public Service Commission and Nevada's Consumer Advocate for customers of public utilities, Fred has been involved in numerous Nevada utility rule makings and rate matters.
The faculty of the program also includes Holland & Hart attorney James Holtkamp, Manager of the firm's Environmental Compliance practice group. Jim focuses his practice on energy, environment, and climate change, including carbon credit trading and carbon capture and sequestration.
Participants are eligible for 13.5 Nevada CLE credits. Upon request, Law Seminars International will apply for CLE credits in other states and other types of credits.
