Eric Maxfield in Salt Lake City and Margot Edwards in Boulder Elected as New Representatives
Holland & Hart LLP today announced that Eric Maxfield and Margot Edwards have each been elected to a three-year term on the firm’s Management Committee, effective Jan. 1. The five-person Management Committee oversees the management and strategic direction of the entire law firm, which has approximately 500 attorneys in eight states and Washington, D.C.

Eric Maxfield of the firm’s Salt Lake City office fills the regional representative position most recently held by Brad Boodt of the firm’s Denver office. Eric is a trial lawyer and commercial litigator. His experience includes disputes involving fiduciary duty and shareholder claims, trade secrets, professional liability and malpractice, healthcare and insurance matters, and class actions. Eric is the former Salt Lake City office Administrative Partner.

Margot Edwards of the firm’s Boulder office fills the junior third position most recently held by Nicole Snyder of the firm’s Boise office. Margot counsels clients on the full spectrum of tax and estate planning issues. She concentrates her practice on tax and estate planning, wealth transfer planning, and charitable giving techniques, with a particular focus on planning for entrepreneurs and real estate assets. She also negotiates and mediates settlements to resolve estate and trust disputes.
