BOULDER (January 14, 2009) - Timothy Rastello, a partner in Holland & Hart's Boulder office, was selected as one of Law Week Colorado's "2008 Lawyers of the Year." According to Law Week Colorado, this award recognizes attorneys that stand out within their firms and in a crowd because of the legal excellence they display. "They represent the best of what lawyering is all about." Rastello is one of only 13 Colorado lawyers selected.
Rastello was selected for his integrity, professionalism and drive. His most noteworthy accomplishments of 2008 include obtaining a favorable decision from the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals in a major police cover-up case against the Nevada Highway Patrol and a $1.2 million attorneys' fee award for successful prosecution of a breach of fiduciary duty case involving a major Cherry Creek real estate case.
"Tim is an outstanding attorney whose standards have distinguished him throughout our firm and Colorado's legal community," said John Husband, Chair of Holland & Hart. "We congratulate him on this recognition."
Rastello’s 27 years of litigation experience includes intellectual property, unlawful trade practices, business fraud, civil rights, real estate, partnership/LLC, professional liability and energy-related cases. His practice routinely extends to Steamboat Springs, Aspen and Vail-Eagle.
