Holland & Hart is pleased to announce that commercial litigator and appellate attorney Michelle Quist, an associate in the firm’s Salt Lake City office, has been named to The Salt Lake Tribune Editorial Board as a community member. The Tribune’s Editorial Board comprises six people: three members of the newspaper’s professional staff, two from The Tribune’s Board of Directors, and one community member. One board of director member and the community member rotate from year to year.
Michelle has been involved in law and politics for over 20 years. She was a contributing editorial writer for The Tribune in 2017 and 2018 and has continued as a contributing columnist providing political commentary and analysis.
Michelle’s legal practice focuses on appellate work at federal and state levels, advocating on behalf of clients in complex civil litigation and regulatory matters. Through various roles in her non-traditional career path, including sole practice and in-house counsel, she has honed skills of persuasion and negotiation to form compelling arguments to advance her clients’ interests.
