The Potential to Trump Obama's Environmental Agenda: A Preview of the First 100 Days of the Trump Administration

Salt Lake City, UT

Although the details of the incoming Trump Administration’s environmental agenda remain unclear, there are certain to be significant policy changes that will impact environmental regulation in the West. Join us for a discussion of how the new Administration is likely to approach President Obama’s environmental priorities, including:

  • Climate change regulations, including the Clean Power Plan and methane emission reductions from the oil and gas industry;
  • Jurisdiction under the Clean Water Act;
  • Regulation of public lands, including protections for sage grouse; and
  • Enforcement.

We also will discuss implications of the Trump Administration agenda on citizen enforcement and provide recommendations on operating in times of regulatory uncertainty.
