This timely two-day legal education conference will give attendees an overview of the evolution of historic preservation regulation of energy projects in the United States and help attendees navigate their way through complex Section 106 review and tribal consultation. Sessions will cover related topics such as natural gas pipeline projects, programmatic agreements, the perspective of the State Historic Preservation Officer, projects on tribal lands, and ethics for the environmental professional.
This conference will feature an outstanding group of expert speakers, including key federal regulators based in Washington, D.C. from the BLM, FERC and Advisory Council on Historic Preservation; BLM Wyoming State Director Bob Bennett who will deliver a keynote address; SHPOs and deputies from Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico and (formerly) Wyoming; the Western Regional Director of the National Trust for Historic Preservation; and many others. Two of the program Co-Chairs are Holland & Hart attorneys John Clark and Jack Palma.
