Trevor is a patent litigator helping technology companies enforce and defend their patent rights with technical depth and an inside understanding of patent strength.
Trevor litigates patent disputes for technology companies in federal district courts across the country and before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB). He represents both patent owners and accused infringers, handling every phase of a case—from pre-suit investigation and case strategy through discovery, claim construction, expert work, trial, and appeal.
Trevor brings a 360-degree view of the patent system: he has examined, prosecuted, and litigated patents. As a former patent examiner at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, he evaluated applications from the other side of the desk—experience that taught him what makes a patent strong, where it is vulnerable, and how it will fare under challenge. This experience informs how he attacks and defends validity, shapes claim construction positions, and anticipates his opponents' arguments.
