Ryder helps clients navigate complex environmental regulatory issues.
Ryder supports energy and natural resources clients on a variety of environmental matters, including navigating permitting obstacles, addressing environmental quality concerns, and defending project approvals and operations.
Ryder guides data centers through complex state and federal regulations—from permit applications and siting to applicability determinations—and counsels clients on the renewable fuel market and Renewable Fuel Standard amid a rapidly evolving energy landscape. He has handled negotiations with state agencies to obtain required environmental permits to ensure data center projects move forward efficiently and in compliance.
In law school, he was elected the President of the Environmental, Energy, and Resources Law Society and completed an externship for the Office of Property Rights Ombudsman.
Prior to joining Holland & Hart, Ryder participated in the firm’s Summer Clerk Program.
