Rebecca W. Dow Elected Fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers

DENVER – April 4, 2012 – Holland & Hart real estate attorney Rebecca W. Dow has been elected as a Fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers (ACREL), the premier organization of U.S. real estate lawyers.

Founded in 1978, the College was organized by real estate practitioners active in various other professional groups who perceived a need for an organization with a very selective membership comprised of lawyers recognized for their legal acumen and proven leadership that could speak effectively to issues of real estate law, regulation and practice.

Less than 1,000 of the nation's practicing real estate attorneys are ACREL fellows.

Ms. Dow has more than 25 years' experience representing an array of commercial real estate clients, including those involved with large, master-planned development projects, acquisitions, and subdivision and entitlement work. She represents owners in commercial construction contracts and architect agreements, including Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) projects. She advises clients in all areas of land use and annexation, residential and mixed-use development, public private partnerships, "building green" legal issues, and retail and office leasing. She also helps clients with virtually all aspects of residential home building.

She has been selected for the 2009, 2010, and 2011 editions of The Best Lawyers in America® for Real Estate Law and has been listed as a leading real estate lawyer in Chambers USA Leading Lawyers for Business since 2008.

Ms. Dow is a member of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors of the Colorado Association of Home Builders.
