Jackson Hole attorney Paula Fleck of Holland & Hart LLC has been selected as a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America (LCA). Fleck is a seasoned trial lawyer within the firm’s commercial litigation practice group who guides clients through the complexities of the litigation process in areas of real estate and construction, employment, tort, and business/commercial litigation.
A 1990 graduate of the University of Illinois, Fleck received her Juris Doctor degree from University of Wyoming College of Law in 1993. She represents employers in employment matters involving discrimination, wage and hour disputes, defamation, wrongful discharge, and breach of contract as well as claims brought pursuant to Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1990, the Americans With Disabilities Act, and the Age Discrimination in Employment Act. Fleck trains employers and management in the drafting and implementation of sexual harassment and disability policies as well as in the requirements of other state and federal employment laws.
“I am very pleased to hear that Paula has been selected among top lawyers in the litigation area. She is very deserving of this honor. On behalf of the firm, I extend our congratulations,” said Joe Teig, administrative partner for Holland & Hart’s Jackson Hole office.
The LCA is a trial lawyer honorary society composed of less than one-half of one percent of American lawyers. Fellowship in the LCA is highly selective and by invitation only. Fellows are selected based upon excellence and accomplishment in litigation, both at the trial and appellate levels, and superior ethical reputation. The LCA is aggressively diverse in its composition. Established as a trial and appellate lawyer honorary society reflecting the American bar in the twenty-first century, the LCA represents the best in law among its membership. The number of Fellowships has been kept at an exclusive limit by design, allowing qualifications, diversity, and inclusion to align effectively, with recognition of excellence in litigation across all segments of the bar. Fellows are generally at the partner or shareholder level, or are independent practitioners with recognized experience and accomplishment. In addition, the LCA is dedicated to promoting superior advocacy, professionalism, and ethical standards among its Fellows.
