New Oil and Gas Blog Provides Insight, Helps Clients Make Informed Decisions

Economic conditions for oil and gas companies are uncertain at best, and having access to sound advice can be key to not only surviving, but thriving. To assist oil and gas companies in making the right decisions on the myriad of issues facing the oil and gas industry, Holland & Hart is launching a new blog, The Oil & Gas Report (theoilandgasreport.com). The blog is authored by attorneys with well over a century of combined experience working with landmen, in-house counsel, and other land professionals to resolve issues arising from oil and gas exploration and development on private, federal, state, and Indian lands. The blog provides in-depth analysis and general education on issues affecting oil and gas exploration and development.

“In times like these, every move matters. It’s the ability to make informed, well-timed decisions that separates the companies who survive—and even thrive—in a downturn, from those who don’t,” said Kelly Johnson, leader of Holland & Hart’s Environment, Energy, and Natural Resources group. “Our experienced attorneys have been through cyclical industry changes with our oil and gas clients over the decades. We want to make sure our clients are positioned with information and strategies to succeed in all market conditions. We have extensive experience advising clients across the Mountain West, including preparing valuable oil and gas title opinions and providing transactional diligence.”
