Drawing on experience at the Colorado Supreme Court and federal district court, Mikayla supports clients in a broad range of business litigation matters.
Mikayla works with clients facing a variety of commercial and business disputes. She combines strong legal analysis with an unyielding work ethic, helping clients navigate the challenges that arise throughout the litigation process.
Mikayla served as an appellate law clerk to Justice Berkenkotter of the Colorado Supreme Court and worked as a judicial extern for Judge Charlotte N. Sweeney of the United States District Court for the District of Colorado. Both experiences gave her valuable perspective on how courts evaluate and resolve complex legal issues.
Before joining Holland & Hart as an associate, Mikayla twice participated in the firm's Summer Clerk program, where she gained experience across civil litigation, corporate, employment, intellectual property, and real estate matters. She also represented clients as a student attorney through the Civil Litigation Clinic at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law under the Colorado Student Practice Act and was recognized with the Clinic's 2023-2024 Outstanding Student Lawyer Award.
