Michael Carrigan And Mark Beese of Holland & Hart Named In Denver's Forty Under 40

DENVER (September 9, 2005) - Holland & Hart LLP is pleased to announce that Michael Carrigan and Mark Beese were named in the Denver Business Journal's ninth annual "Forty Under 40" special section.

This section, published in the DBJ on Sept. 2, 2005, celebrates Denver business leaders under the age of 40. The 40 individuals profiled were chosen because of their business leadership, recognition of accomplishments and community involvement.

Mr. Carrigan serves as Of Counsel in Holland & Hart's litigation department. In his legal career, he has experience in complex litigation, insurance coverage and business litigation. He is also actively involved in the Denver community. In November 2004, he was elected to the Board of Regents for the University of Colorado. Mr. Carrigan also serves on the Board of Trustees for Easter Seals Colorado, Latin American Research and Service Agency and the Catholic Lawyers Guild.

Mr. Beese is the Director of Marketing at Holland & Hart. He joined Holland & Hart in the Spring of 2001 and leads the marketing efforts of the 300-lawyer, 12-office law firm. He has been recognized as the "Marketing Director of the Year" at the 2002 Marketing Partner Forum, and his team received the "IQ Award for Innovation" by the Boulder County Business Report. In the community, Mr. Beese has served as Chair of the Leadership Denver Alumni Association, on the Board of the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce Foundation, and on a committee of the Metro Denver Sports Commission charged with attracting international sporting events to Colorado. He is currently President of the Rocky Mountain Chapter of the Legal Marketing Association and Co-Chair of the Marketing Committee of Terralex Legal Network.
