Mary York Recognized As Idaho Business Leader

BOISE (April 30, 2007) - Mary York, a Holland & Hart partner and trial lawyer, was named one of Boise's "2007 Accomplished Under 40" by the Idaho Business Review.

Nominees, all under the age of 40, are scored on professional accomplishments, community services, and the recognition received for personal and professional achievements.

York was recognized for her leadership in a variety of Boise business, legal, and community activities. In January 2007, she was elected to the partnership of Holland & Hart and currently focuses her practice on construction, eminent domain, real estate, and land use litigation. Since joining the firm six years ago, York has made it a goal to grow the firm's construction practice in Boise.

Prior to joining Holland & Hart, York served as a Deputy Attorney General for the Idaho Transportation Department and clerked for Charles F. McDevitt, the then-Chief Justice of the Idaho Supreme Court. While earning her J.D. at the University of Idaho College of Law, she served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Idaho Law Review.

In the community, York's involvement has included her work with Idaho Women Lawyers, Idaho Law Foundation, and University of Idaho minority student mentoring programs. She is also a speaker and author on eminent domain and land-use related topics for clients, industry experts, and members of the bar.

The 40 winners, including York, will be honored at an awards luncheon on June 22, 2007. For more information, visit www.idahobusiness.net.
