Marc Painter Elected to the American College of Real Estate Lawyers

Holland & Hart partner Marc Painter has been elected as a Fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers (ACREL). ACREL is the premier organization of U.S. real estate lawyers with admission by invitation only. Painter is the only Colorado lawyer among the forty-one attorneys from around the country elected to ACREL this year.

ACREL's distinguished, nationally-known lawyers are elected to fellowship for their outstanding legal ability, experience, and high standards of professional and ethical conduct in the practice of real estate law.

“Induction into the American College of Real Estate Lawyers recognizes Marc’s well-deserved reputation as a business-savvy real estate practitioner in the region.” said Mona Burton, the firm’s Real Estate Development and Finance Practice Group Leader.

Recognized as a leading real estate lawyer in Colorado and nationwide, Painter assists developers in commercial, multi-family, mixed use, and resort projects. He also draws on experience as a banker to advise lenders on complex real estate and asset-based commercial lending facilities. For over 30 years, Painter has dedicated his services to his clients navigating difficult transactions to profitable completion and to his professional and bar memberships. He has chaired the Colorado Bar Association Real Estate Section and he has served as president of Continuing Legal Education in Colorado, Inc. He is also a Fellow in the American College of Mortgage Attorneys.
