Kevin Murray Elected Treasurer of the American College of Environmental Lawyers

Holland & Hart is pleased to announce that Kevin Murray, a partner in the firm’s Salt Lake City office, has been elected as Treasurer of the American College of Environmental Lawyers. Murray was previously elected to serve a three-year term on the ACOEL Board of Regents in 2018 and inducted as a Fellow in 2017.

ACOEL is a professional association of distinguished lawyers who practice in the field of environmental law. Membership is by invitation and members are recognized by their peers as preeminent in their field. ACOEL members are dedicated to: maintaining and improving the ethical practice of environmental law; the administration of justice; and the development of environmental law at both the state and federal level. All officers and regents elected by the members serve on a voluntary basis and donate their time to ensure the College operates efficiently.

Murray has expertise on complex contamination issues, particularly those involving multi-jurisdictional and multi-agency matters in the real estate, mining, energy, petroleum, nuclear, and manufacturing industries. His practice focuses on managing environmental liabilities, repurposing real estate assets, and creating value through property remediation and planning.
