Kelly Johnson to Lead Holland & Hart’s Environment, Energy and Natural Resources Practice

Holland & Hart LLP has named Washington, D.C. partner Kelly Johnson to lead the firm’s Environment, Energy, and Natural Resources practice.

Holland & Hart’s Environment, Energy and Natural Resources group has been ranked as the best natural resources practice in the country by Best Lawyers in America.  The group’s 90-plus attorneys make it one of the largest collections of environmental attorneys in the country, ranking third on the 2012 Law360 Environmental 100.

“In addition to her years of service with Holland & Hart, Kelly brings a wealth of knowledge from her experience on Capitol Hill and in the Department of Justice,” said firm chair John Husband. “Her leadership will be an exceptional asset to the practice group, the firm, and most importantly, our clients.”

Ms. Johnson provides legal and strategic advice to clients on federal legislative and regulatory matters pending before the Congress, the White House, executive branch agencies, and the courts. She focuses on environmental, energy, and natural resource matters for a diverse range of corporate and government entities.

Johnson has managed Holland & Hart’s Washington, D.C. office since 2006, and is a member of the firm’s strategic planning committee. She has practiced with Holland & Hart for more than ten years during her two-decade legal and government service career.

Johnson is currently serving her second term as co-chair of the D.C. Bar Environment, Energy and Natural Resources Section Steering Committee.
