Holland & Hart announced Kelly Johnson was appointed Administrative Partner (AP) for the firm’s Washington, D.C. office, effective April 1, 2018. Johnson succeeds Tom Jensen, who served as AP of the Washington, D.C. office for the past three years. As AP, Johnson will provide leadership critical to the operations and strategies of the office, including financial management, client services, and attorney recruitment.
Located at the epicenter of federal power, professionals in our Washington, D.C. office deliver strategic legislative and regulatory counsel to local, regional, and international clients. With a focus on federal legislative initiatives and regulatory matters arising in the energy, international trade, and agriculture industries, these sophisticated professionals provide comprehensive, cross-disciplinary solutions to clients’ complex challenges. Johnson was one of the founding partners opening the firm’s Washington, D.C. office in 2006 and served as AP until 2012.

Kelly Johnson’s practice, at the intersection of law and public policy, leverages her experience and knowledge of the executive, legislative, and judicial systems to deliver strategic solutions to the complex challenges clients face. Johnson focuses on energy, environmental, and natural resource matters for a diverse range of corporate entities. From 2012 to 2017, Johnson led the firm’s Environment and Natural Resources practice, one of the largest in the country at over 100 lawyers.
