JJ draws on years of experience as a company founder, executive, and financial analyst to guide businesses through corporate transactions and growth.
JJ counsels companies on corporate and transactional matters, from entity formation and governance to mergers, acquisitions, and financing. He brings an operator's perspective to the deals he structures, drawing on years of leading businesses before he became a lawyer.
Before law school, JJ held leadership roles as a company founder, chief executive officer, and chief financial officer, including in highly regulated industries where he managed regulatory relationships and oversaw compliance. Earlier, he worked as a financial analyst on mergers, acquisitions, and capital-raising engagements. Having sat on the client's side of the table, JJ understands the commercial and financial realities behind every transaction.
During law school, JJ served as a judicial intern for Justice Hart of the Colorado Supreme Court, preparing cases for oral argument and drafting certiorari memoranda.
