A former federal prosecutor, Jaymie leverages her government perspective to defend clients in complex litigation and investigations.
Drawing on years of experience prosecuting complex federal cases—from managing early-stage investigations through leading jury trials and arguing Tenth Circuit appeals—Jaymie brings a nuanced understanding of how prosecutors evaluate evidence, structure negotiations, and make charging decisions. This perspective allows her to anticipate government strategy and position clients for stronger outcomes.
Jaymie served as an Assistant United States Attorney in the District of New Mexico, where she independently managed a docket of approximately 125 federal felony cases and argued appeals before the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Jaymie also served as a Special Advisor in the Office of U.S. Senator Martin Heinrich, where she led policy initiatives and drafted memoranda on constitutional and regulatory matters—experience that informs her work with clients navigating government-facing disputes.
Following law school, Jaymie served as a law clerk to Judge M. Monica Zamora of the New Mexico Court of Appeals and to Magistrate Judge Gregory J. Fouratt of the United States District Court for the District of New Mexico.
