DENVER (December 18, 2006) - Holland & Hart is pleased to announce that Jane Michaels has been chosen as one of the Lawdragon 500 Leading Lawyers in America. According to Lawdragon, this recognition is the most elite given for American lawyers, awarded to less than one-half of one percent of America’s 1.1 million attorneys. She is one of two Colorado lawyers selected.
More than 15,000 attorneys were nominated for the Lawdragon list. Lawdragon’s editors selected the top 500 after an intense search for the nation's best lawyers in more than 80 practice areas, based on a proprietary system that takes into account dozens of qualifications that are scored to determine the best lawyers nationwide. The 500 Leading Lawyers in America list is comprised of private lawyers, in-house counsel, law professors, public interest lawyers, and judges, including U.S. Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts and Associate Justices Stephen Breyer, Anthony Kennedy and Antonin Scalia.

She is also a certified arbitrator and mediator.
