Holland & Hart is proud to announce that Jane Michaels, an experienced trial lawyer, arbitrator, and mediator, was appointed to the Board of Directors for the Sandra Day O'Connor Institute For American Democracy.
The Sandra Day O’Connor Institute for American Democracy was founded in 2009 by retired Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Connor. The O’Connor Institute, a nonprofit, nonpartisan 501(c)(3), continues her distinguished legacy and lifetime work to advance civil discourse, civic engagement, and civics education.
Jane is Senior Counsel with Holland & Hart in Denver, Colorado. She has decades of experience as a successful trial lawyer representing clients in complex business, intellectual property, and technology disputes in courtrooms and arbitrations around the country. As a certified arbitrator and mediator, Jane currently focuses her practice on alternative dispute resolution, helping companies resolve their commercial and intellectual property disputes. Jane is a Fellow of the College of Commercial Arbitrators, the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals, the American College of Trial Lawyers, the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, and the International Society of Barristers. In 2020, she was selected for inclusion in Lawdragon’s “Leading Lawyers in America” Hall of Fame.
