Holland & Hart's Jack Smith Elected As A Fellow Of The American College Of Bankruptcy

DENVER, COLORADO December 8, 2003...Holland & Hart is pleased to announce that Denver partner Jack Smith has been chosen for induction by the American College of Bankruptcy. Mr. Smith, who has been one of the leading bankruptcy and insolvency lawyers in Colorado for over 25 years, is the first fellow selected from Colorado in six years. The induction will take place in March 2004 at the United States Supreme Court.

Mr. Smith earned his J.D. from Cornell University (1971) and his B.A. from Davidson College (1968). His example has helped guide Holland & Hart's Bankruptcy Practice Group in becoming a leader among bankruptcy practitioners throughout the Rocky Mountain Region. Mr. Smith will join existing members Ron Martin and Larry Prince as the third Holland & Hart attorney to receive the honor.

The mission of the College is to honor and recognize distinguished lawyers and other bankruptcy professionals in an effort to set standards of achievement for others in the insolvency community. The College consists of less than 600 members nation-wide who have earned their membership through years of professional excellence and exceptional contributions to the field of bankruptcy, not only in their practice, but also in teaching and scholarly activities.
