Holland & Hart's Dan Glivar Appointed Intellectual Property Practice Leader

Holland & Hart announced that partner Dan Glivar has been appointed Practice Group Leader (PGL) for the firm’s Intellectual Property (IP) practice. A long-time leader in the firm’s IP Transactions subgroup, Dan is a partner in the firm’s Boise office. In his new capacity, he will provide strategic leadership and management expertise to the IP group as well as continuing to support his clients across technology and telecom-focused transactions.

Holland & Hart’s team of more than 100 IP professionals includes lawyers, patent agents, patent engineers, IP and trademark specialists, and paralegals, who help to identify, create, protect, and enforce the IP assets of a diverse range of clients in the technology, telecoms, media, consumer products, medical devices, retail, food and beverage, and hospitality industries, among others. The team delivers depth and expertise in an array of IP law areas including Patent Prosecution and Counseling, Trademark and Foreign Portfolio Management, Copyrights, Trade Secrets and Non-Competes, IP Litigation, and IP & Commercial Transactions.

Dan’s practice focuses on Technology Transactions and Telecommunications Services. His experience spans a wide variety of transactions from technology (hardware and software) development, procurement, licensing (inbound/outbound), commercialization, and maintenance/support, to negotiating and drafting telecommunications access, system construction, service, and marketing agreements between telecommunications companies and residential property and business owners.
