Holland & Hart's Boise Office Recognized for Pro Bono Work and Community Service

BOISE (May 5, 2008) – The Boise office of the Rocky Mountain Regional law firm of Holland & Hart received the Idaho State Bar’s annual 6.1 Challenge award, which recognizes the law firm in Idaho’s Fourth Judicial District with the greatest accomplishments in pro bono and community service. Idaho Supreme Court Justice Roger Burdick presented the award at a reception on April 30, 2008.

At the event, Justice Burdick praised Holland & Hart for its commitment to pro bono services. From May 2007 to April 2008, the Boise office's total pro bono and public service hours averaged out to 97 hours per attorney. Their services ranged from helping abused immigrants obtain rights under the Violence Against Women Act to representing the guardian of an Alzheimer’s patient in a successful four-day trial. Other projects included working with non-profit organizations, participating in Holland & Hart Foundation activities, and sponsoring families in need for the office’s annual holiday project.
