Holland & Hart Welcomes Mark A. Davidson to its Denver Office
DENVER (January 8, 2009) Holland & Hart is pleased to announce that Mark A. Davidson has joined the firm's Denver office as a partner in its natural resources department.
Davidson has practiced in the areas of energy, telecommunications and transportation his entire career. Davidson was an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Colorado for three and a half years representing the Colorado Public Utilities Commission and its staff. Prior to joining Holland & Hart, he represented Public Service Company of Colorado for 12 years and PSCo's two largest retail electric customers for the past six and a half.
Davidson has participated in virtually every significant electric utility rate, resource planning, transmission siting, and cost recovery case in Colorado over the past 20 years. He also represented Cajun Electric Cooperative of Baton Rouge, LA in nearly all regulatory matters before the Louisiana Public Service Commission, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Louisiana, the U.S. District Court, and the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals during the seven-year pendency of Cajun’s Chapter 11 reorganization.
Davidson received his J.D. from Ohio Northern University and his B.A. from Miami University of Ohio.
