COLORADO SPRINGS (February 26 , 2008) - Holland & Hart LLP is pleased to announce that John Scorsine has joined the firm's Colorado Springs office.
Scorsine's practice is concentrated in government contracting. He has negotiated contracts and other agreements within both governmental and private sectors. Prior to joining Holland & Hart, he was Vice President, Secretary and General Counsel for 21st Century Systems, Inc. There, he managed intellectual property issues and negotiated contracts and other agreements, as well as was responsible for risk management and legal compliance of the corporation. Previously, he was a senior associate with DFI-International. Prior, Scorsine was the Plans, Operations and Military Support Officer (POMSO) for the Wyoming National Guard.
In addition, Scorsine is a member of the National Guard. He holds the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the Army Judge Advocate General Corps and is qualified as a military judge.
Scorsine earned his J.D. from University of Wyoming, his B.S. from Rochester Institute of Technology, and is currently pursuing an M.A. from the University of Sunderland. He has also earned diplomas from both the Air War College and the Army Command and General Staff College.
