Holland & Hart Strengthens Export Control Practice With Addition Of Former IBM Manager
Denver, Colorado (June 9, 2005) - Holland & Hart is pleased to announce that David Glynn, former Manager, U.S. Export Compliance and U.S. Export Regulation Coordinator at IBM has joined the firm's export control practice as Of Counsel in the Denver office.
Mr. Glynn's arrival strengthen's the firm's practice in this area and brings a corporate perspective to the legal issues global companies are facing.
At IBM, Mr. Glynn advised and counseled IBM business units with contractual issues relating to international commercial sales, and drafting and administering control of IBM Powers of Attorney granted to IBM logistics suppliers. Mr. Glynn was also responsible for development and implementation of comprehensive export management systems in that multinational corporate environment and issue management involving such compliance items as human resource and procurement practices regarding foreign nationals and technology controls.
Mr. Glynn has extensive experience in US import compliance, and customs/trade law, as well as trade policy and agency rule making advocacy from a corporate interests perspective. As a key member of IBM's Integrated Supply Chain, Mr. Glynn participated in the company's supply chain security initiatives, including successful admission in the US Customs and Border Protection C-TPAT program.
