Holland & Hart represented Liteye Systems, Inc. (“Liteye”), a multi-mission defense company that develops, integrates, and manufactures Counter Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS) that detect, identify, track, and disrupt unmanned aircraft, in its acquisition by Highlander Partners, L.P. (“Highlander”), a leading private investment firm.
Earlier this year, Highlander established a new division, High Point Aerotechnologies LLC (High Point), to focus on and pursue the rapidly evolving C-UAS and UAS industries. The combination with High Point will bring government and military relationships, industry experience, and a long-term financial strategic approach to drive Liteye and the C-UAS industry forward.
The Holland & Hart transactional team was led by partners Sam Edwards and Matthew Cavarra and included work from attorneys Robert Denzer, Anton Krayniy, Nicki Cerasoli, Theland Thomas, and Trent Timmons.
