DENVER (January 31, 2006) - Holland & Hart attorney Elizabeth Sharrer represented DTC/Meridian in its recent sale of land, buildings and other assets within the Denver Technological Center, Meridian International Business Center and Meridian Village.
Shea Homes and Shea Properties acquired the assets held by DTC/Meridian on January 31, 2006. Parts of Meridian and all of Meridian Village are owned in partnership with the Bradbury family. This partnership will continue unchanged. In addition, Shea will acquire eight office buildings held by DTC in 100 percent ownership or various partnerships, and Marina Square Shopping Center.
DTC comprises 900 acres with almost 11 million square feet of office and commercial development, and almost 3,500 residential dwelling units. Meridian International Business Center is almost 1,600 acres with approximately 4 million square feet of office and commercial development and almost 2,000 residential dwelling units. Meridian Village is a new 800-acre master-planned residential community entitled for 2,500 residences.
Ms. Sharrer is a partner in Holland & Hart's real estate practice group. Her practice concentrates on commercial real estate development and financing, land use and annexation issues, all aspects of acquisitions and sales, office park development, leasing, title related issues, loan documentation and opinion letters.
