Holland & Hart Represents Degreed in its $153 Million Series D Funding

Holland & Hart represented Degreed, the workforce upskilling platform for one in three Fortune 50 companies, in its $153 million Series D funding. The investment, which was co-led by Sapphire Ventures and Riverwood Capital, values the company at $1.4 billion.

The investment will be used to accelerate product development, enhance data infrastructure, fuel global expansion, and pursue strategic acquisitions. Technology enhancements will focus on upgrading Degreed’s reporting and analytics, ensuring best in class security, and enhancing integrations that take Degreed deeper into users’ daily workflow.

Holland & Hart’s venture capital and private equity team advised Degreed on the transaction and was led by Salt Lake City corporate partner Marc Porter and Boise corporate partner Alison Johnson. The team also included assistance from Elizabeth Roberts, John Ludlum, David Glynn, Peter Perla, Tracy Gray, Kristiana Lubomirova, and Sara Shelly.
