DENVER (April 26, 2007) - Holland & Hart LLP was recognized as a leader in law firm marketing by several national organizations.
Holland & Hart won three "Your Honor Awards" for marketing excellence presented by the International Legal Marketing Association in late March. These awards are the pinnacle awards for the profession and are given in 16 categories. Holland & Hart won first place in the Multi-Media Advertising Campaign category for its campaign featuring innovative clients in print ads and five-minute television shows, which aired on Frontier Airline's Wild Blue Yonder network and online. The firm also won first place in the Research category as a result of the firm's process for measuring the effectiveness of its advertising program. In addition, the firm received an honorable mention in the Events category, for Persuasion Strategies' Live Mock Trial event. Persuasion Strategies is Holland & Hart's in-house graphics and trial-consulting service.
PRNews also awarded Holland & Hart a first place award in its 2007 annual Legal PR Awards. The firm was recognized nationally in the Media Event category for the launch of its advertising campaign. The event, which premiered the five-minute television shows, attracted media with invitations resembling boarding passes and a conference room set up as an airplane interior. "Holland & Hart's new ad campaign launched with a bang: a party that spawned a wealth of favorable media coverage," said the February 26, 2007, publication.
Holland & Hart worked with The Light Group to produce the four videos that aired on Frontier Airlines. In May, the Business Marketing Association will present its silver award (2nd place) to The Light Group for the video featuring Holland & Hart's client Electric Rain (www.erain.com).
Holland & Hart was also ranked as the 12th leading law firm in the nation for marketing and communications according to Marketing the Law Firm, a newsletter published by American Lawyer Media. The top 50 firms were ranked based on marketing strategy, results, staffing, communications/public relations and media relations, commitment to marketing, advertising and visual communications, web sites and firm blogs, client service programs, and community outreach and pro bono programs. No other firm based in the Rocky Mountain region was included on this list.
"Over the past five years, the marketing team has taken the Holland & Hart brand from being known as a small regional firm to a nationally recognized regional leader," according to the newsletter.
Holland & Hart's marketing team acts as an in-house marketing agency that treats its lawyers like clients. The 12-person in-house agency creates and manages the firm's advertising, media relations, events, sponsorships, proposals, Web sites, and marketing materials.
