Holland & Hart Ranks Second for Large Firms in 2026 Patent Quality Rankings by Patent Bots

Holland & Hart is pleased to announce it has again been recognized as a top-ranking firm in the 2026 Patent Quality Rankings of America’s top patent law firms for the seventh consecutive year. The firm ranked second in the US for patent quality among Large Firms (those issuing at least 500 patents in the previous year).

In the quality scores for different Tech Centers at the USPTO, the firm was ranked in the top 5 law firms in multiple client areas, including 2100 (Computer Architecture, Software, and Information Security), 2400 (Computer Networks, Multiplex, Cable, and Cryptography/Security), 2600 (Communications), and 2800 (Semiconductors, Electrical and Optical Systems, and Components).

Patent Bots uses advanced machine learning software to review every patent issued by the USPTO in the past year, totaling more than 327,000 patents. Patent law firms are then ranked based on the average of numbering errors, antecedent basis errors, and word support errors detected. The overall rankings include patent law firms with at least 50 patents issued in the previous year.

A team of highly talented attorneys, patent agents, patent engineers, and specialists, the firm’s Patent Group is structured to operate like a sophisticated tech company to deliver creative, high-quality patent solutions using Generative AI and other technology tools. The team focuses on next-generation technologies in the areas of wireless communications, memory technology, electronics, software (including AI and cloud computing), wearable and other health devices, and standard essential patents, among many others.
