Holland & Hart Partner Bryan Benard Elected Fellow of The College of Labor and Employment Lawyers

Holland & Hart is pleased to announce that partner Bryan Benard has been elected as a Fellow of The College of Labor and Employment Lawyers. Fellows are recognized by colleagues as outstanding professionals who have made a sustained contribution to the field of Labor and Employment Law and meet the College’s standards of integrity, professionalism, and character. Newly elected fellows include accomplished lawyers, academicians, and scholars of the labor and employment law community.

The College of Labor and Employment Lawyers, headquartered in Annapolis, Maryland, was founded in 1995 on the 60th anniversary of the National Labor Relations Board and the 30th anniversary of Title VII and Executive Order 11246. The College began as a non-profit professional association honoring the leading lawyers nationwide in the practice of Labor and Employment Law. It has now evolved to become an intellectual and practical resource for the support of the profession and its many audiences. The primary purpose of the College is recognition of individuals, sharing knowledge, and delivering value to the many different groups who can benefit from its value model.

Bryan is trusted by employers to provide immediate and sound advice on thorny workplace issues and, when necessary, to defend employers in wrongful termination, harassment, and discrimination claims. Bryan is known for providing practical guidance to employers as they balance business needs and success with workforce needs and issues. His extensive and complex employment litigation experience includes jury trial success, handling significant wage and hour class actions, and EEOC administrative proceedings, in both Utah and California. Bryan also conducts workplace investigations into employee complaints and potential harassment.

Bryan serves with several industry organizations, including as a Board Member of Weber School Foundation and on the U.S. Law Firm Group labor and employment committee, as well as being an active member of the American Bar Association, and several state bar associations and committees. He previously served as the firm's Employment and Labor Practice Group Leader from 2016 to 2019, and as a member of the firm's five-partner Management Committee from 2012 to 2014.

Bryan will be recognized among the other members of the Class of 2025 at the College’s Annual Induction Dinner on November 15, 2025.
