DENVER (September 19, 2005) - With more than 85% of its attorneys undertaking more than 20 hours pro bono work in 2004, Holland & Hart has the highest rate of pro bono participation in the country, according to The American Lawyer's 2005 Pro Bono Report. The firm ranked fifth nationally overall for its pro bono efforts.

According to The American Lawyer, only 18 firms in the country have participation rates above 60%.

Holland & Hart has a longstanding national reputation as a law firm committed to providing legal and civic pro bono services to charitable organizations, and to those who are indigent, or would otherwise go without legal help.

"Giving back to the communities where we practice law, including pro bono legal work, is one of the bedrock principles of the firm," states firm Chairman Paul Phillips. "This ranking reflects the strength of the commitment our attorneys make to accept and act upon that principle."
